Cedar and Twine is female owned, featuring a variety of beautifully curated items made by women, with a focus on charity and giving back.

COURTNEY SCANTLIN - OWNER

I am a mom to young adults and have been married to my ride or die for 28 years. I am a full time remote Executive Assistant in the Sacramento area, and the rest of my time is spent building this incredible business.

My heart has always been to serve others, which led our family to Nicaragua over 14 years ago. We immediately fell in love with the country and its people, and ended up living in country for a year. We worked closely with families living in extreme poverty, and led a youth group with the most amazing kids. Giving back and serving is something we hold in high regard and make a priority.

Retail is in my blood. I have worked in retail, sold to retail businesses and have owned a brick and mortar store in Southern California. My passion and desire to bring beautifully handmade goods to people, in addition to working with charities who are making an impact around the world, is being merged in this venture of Cedar and Twine.
